Donorfy Product Update: November 2025

Written by Lisa Newhouse | Dec 2, 2025 10:43:21 AM
November has been a month of groundwork and preparation.

It’s been another busy month behind the scenes here at Donorfy. We’ve fixed and improved lots of things below the waterline this month. In fact, we shipped 84 individual changes across 10 deployments, which makes it one of our busiest months yet (the engineering team are certainly ready for a Christmas mince pie.)

What's been happening

The ongoing move to Access Evo:

One of the biggest pieces of work has been preparing for your move to Access Evo - the single-sign-on platform that’s brings lots of benefits.

We’ve previously mentioned that you’ll get unlicenced and easy access to the Donorfy Academy, but you’ll also gain extra modules to help you work faster, engage staff and collaborate at scale. For example, you'll have built-in Copilot acting as your AI digital assistant – but, don’t worry, everything you ask stays in your own private environment, no data is shared externally.

We’ll be contacting and onboarding customers in phases, beginning before Christmas and continuing into early 2026, so we can be on hand for any questions and make the transition as smooth as possible for everyone. Expect comms from us in the coming weeks, and plenty of support!

Integration improvements:

The new native integration with Access Raise is almost ready and will be rolled out to a group of customers for testing during December. We’ll make it available to all customers next year, but get in touch with the support team if you’d like to see it sooner.

Once that's complete, work will begin improving the performance and resilience of the integration with Dotdigital.

Support success:

The new Donorfy Digital Assistant is firmly embedded now. In fact, friendly rivalry is growing between our lovely support humans and AI ...

While AI is slightly ahead with the number of your questions it resolves – some would say because it gets there first - congratulations to our Jonny, who gave AI a close run for its money in the race to the first 500 answered questions.

Customers are also getting on well with the refreshed knowledge base, including the Archdiocese of Southwark, who said:

“One of the best things has been the knowledge base. If I have a question, I can usually find the answer without needing any formal training.”

What's coming next?

We’re gearing up for significant improvements to Donorfy’s reporting capabilities through Access Analytics, including the ability to drill into charts and see underlying data. It’s a complete step change for reporting, and we can’t wait to show you more.

Joining Access has allowed us to invest in things below the waterline too - all the invisible but important foundations that make Donorfy faster, more resilient and ready for the future. Watch this space in 2026.

Stay connected

Don't forget to enter the Access Impact Awards, nominations close soon! Whether you've run an amazing campaign, built a brilliant volunteer team or used technology creatively, celebrate your success

We regularly chat with customers about how they’re getting on with Donorfy, to build their success stories. This includes Working Families, who left us with a few brilliant tips for other charities, including:

“Build clear processes: SOPs and naming conventions help maintain consistency and reduce confusion.”

Simple, powerful, and absolutely worth passing on.

That’s a wrap for updates in 2025

As this is our final product update of the year, we want to wish you all a Joy-filled Christmas and a restful break when it comes. As always, thanks for being part of the Donorfy community.
