We’ve added some new faces to the Donorfy team over the past few months. We wanted to take this opportunity to introduce them and help you put a face to a name.
This week, we are very excited to welcome Lucy. Lucy is our new Customer Success Manager and will be helping our clients get off to the best start using Donorfy – read on to find out what she had to say.
What's your role at Donorfy?
I'm a Customer Success Manager so I get an understanding of top level requirements from the client organisation, then demo the system and answer any questions. Then follow-up with the best plan for them, whether that's pointing them in the direction of self-set up tools on the Donorfy Knowledge Base or assigning them to one of our Partners for Consultant-led implementation.
How long have you been working in the charity sector and who for?
I haven't really! I come from a corporate background of project management and systems implementation. I worked for Victim Support for a year implementing a new website some years back and my last consultant project was for the Royal School of Needlework running a full Digital Transformation Project with new website, CRM and IT infrastructure. I'm excited to be working in this sector full-time now and learning all there is to know.
What do you like most about Donorfy?
I just love the software. It's intuitive, simple and well-designed. Coming from a systems background, it's rare to see something so well thought out and I'm a sucker for awesome organisation, whether in systems or in life. I had a demo for the software and was so impressed I called back and asked how I could get involved.
What do you enjoy doing when you're not working on Donorfy?
Ooo a bit of everything I'd say. I love to go to gigs with my husband (looking forward to seeing Eric Clapton this summer) and walks with our dog Buddy. I'm a qualified Pilates instructor so I can often be found on a Reformer machine and I'm studying nutrition and microbiology at the moment so lots of reading!
Thanks Lucy for taking the time to answer our questions. We wish you the best of luck in your new position at Donorfy. Welcome to the team!
