What's your role at Donorfy?
I have recently started at Donorfy as a software developer. My role is to help accelerate the development of new features. I’ll be taking on board customer requirements and feedback to make improvements to the application.
How long have you been working in the charity sector and who for?
This is my first time working in the charity sector. My background in software development covers a wide array of different project types from event photography software, to business intelligence software monitoring and controlling energy usage in train stations. My varied background should bring a fresh perspective to the Donorfy development process.
What do you like most about Donorfy?
Donorfy is a really well constructed application, being a cloud application on Microsoft Azure it has huge potential for where it can go.
The team behind Donorfy are very passionate with a really great working environment. I've already seen great interaction between the team at Donorfy and customers, something which is critical for our end users to get the tools they need to do their jobs!
What do you enjoy doing when you're not working on Donorfy?
I'm into my films, so always trying to find something new to watch. My wife and I try to get to music events when we can - the next one lined up is Foals, one of my favourite bands. And of course long walks with Poppy our English Springer Spaniel.
