We are looking for an Onboarding Consultant to take part in the Donorfy success story by joining the team to implement Donorfy solutions for our clients.
Our clients are small / medium sized charities in the UK, Ireland and Denmark. Onboarding projects are anything from 1 to 50 days, typically 10-25, involving business analysis, preparing data for migration, configuration, building custom integrations, training and go-live support.

The role is home-based - we don’t have an office, we all work from our homes. We use collaboration tools to stay in touch throughout the day, and we meet regularly in Brighton and London. You would need to be able to do that on average once or twice a month.
This is an exciting and dynamic team, so there is an opportunity for the right candidate to participate in the growth and success of Donorfy. The emphasis is on productivity and fitting into a friendly, committed team.
Working time is 37.5 hours per week over 4 or 5 days (you decide) between the hours of 8am and 6pm on Mondays to Fridays.
Scoping and documenting the client’s requirements
Using business analysis skills to design and document the proposed solution – may involve prototyping a configuration to walk through with the client.
Building the client’s Donorfy solution - which means configuring it to their needs, connecting it to integrated services and building any custom integrations via the API.
Migration and transformation of client’s legacy data into Donorfy – using SQL Server or Excel templates.
Demonstrating / training the client’s system administrator(s) in the main concepts and configurability of Donorfy.
Documenting “how to” guides specifically for that client’s use of the solution.
Training end-user staff in the use of Donorfy.
Tracking time spent vs time estimated, and agreeing with the client any changes.
Tracking project issues and coming up with solutions to resolve them.
Supporting the client on any specific customisations that we have provided.
Occasional account management / review meetings.
Ad-hoc tasks as ordered by clients, or referred from Donorfy Support.
Occasional assistance with:
Pre-sales, providing advice and estimates and participation in sales meetings alongside the Donorfy sales team.
Donorfy technical support.
This role reports to the Professional Services Manager.
All-rounder – comfortable talking to clients about their requirements and doing the technical work.
Ability to interpret a client’s requirements, come up with a realistic solution and explain it clearly to the client in non-technical language.
Excellent SQL skills – on any modern SQL product.
Strong data manipulation skills.
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
Problem-solver – ability to think of creative ways to meet requirements or solve a problem.
Proven ability to work from home in a dedicated workspace (e.g. a study, not the kitchen table) without interruption or distraction. Self-manage schedules and priorities.
Positive, enthusiastic, helpful, can-do attitude.
Ability to travel at company’s expense when required – with current driver’s license
Would be an advantage
Knowledge of the UK charity / nonprofit sector and the part played by CRM and other digital tools in fundraising. (Eg Mailchimp, Eventbrite and JustGiving)
Microsoft SQL Server and/or Azure SQL knowledge and experience, specifically with Transact SQL.
Knowledge and experience of the Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
Experience working with REST APIs.
Working with Microsoft Flow or other process automation tools.
Salary depends on experience and competence – £25k – £35k pa.
25 days’ holiday a year, of which 3 must be taken between Christmas and New Year, plus English public holidays.
Flexible working - 37.5 hour week can be arranged over 4 or 5 days.
A Workplace Pension scheme is provided after 3 months to which the company contributes 3% of gross salary.
The company will supply computer, monitor and other equipment necessary to working effectively from home.
