Redwood Onboarding
Project Overview
redwood implementation
Our Redwood managed implementation programme ensures large charities are fit for the future with an expert CRM setup.
From the project initiation, you’ll get up to twenty licences for the Donorfy Academy to upskill and prepare your team on all things Donorfy. Then, over approximately ten weeks, you will work with your Donorfy consultant to migrate up to 150,000 constituents and their corresponding records (up to 1,000,000) into your fully customised database.
You’ll be live on Donorfy in a controlled and timely manner - allowing you to realise the potential of your new CRM and to do more of what matters for your cause.
Your Donorfy implementation process will be bespoke to you and your organisation’s needs, but as a rough guide you can expect to work through the following steps:
Project Plan
-
Many a wise person has commented on the need for good preparation! So, your project begins with instructor-led and on-demand training within the Donorfy Academy, building your understanding of the system.
Alongside this, you will work with your Donorfy consultant to prepare your data for configuration and migration. It’s the perfect opportunity to assess the data you hold and look at how you may want to use it moving forward. -
It’s time to get your Donorfy set up in exactly the right way for you. The system is incredibly flexible, so your expert consultant will discuss everything with you to help optimise it for your needs.
From GDPR consent to donation types; major donor and grant pipelines to constituent segmentation; you’ll cover it all. -
You’ll use all your knowledge about Donorfy, alongside further guidance from your Donorfy consultant, to finalise your data ready for migration.
Then, it’s over to us. We’ll carefully import your data into your configured Donorfy database while you dive into further on-demand training in the Academy. You’ll also receive our ‘Donorfy Protocols’ document, for you to record your Donorfy setup and help define any new business processes you’re putting in place. -
During your Integrations workshop, you’ll spend time linking Donorfy to the myriad of third-party platforms at your fingertips. You can automate your GiftAid submissions with HMRC, bring in fundraising data from JustGiving and Enthuse, segment your audience and send targeted emails through MailChimp and DotDigital and take advantage of our integrations with Stripe, GoCardless and PayPal… the list goes on!
Your Donorfy consultant will also explore how Donorfy Forms can integrate your website with your new database to allow your supporters to connect with you seamlessly.
-
Once your data has been migrated into Donorfy, we’ll run through how to validate the move - ensuring data accuracy and letting you see your database come to life for the first time.
With your Go Live date just around the corner, it will be time to train the wider team on any new processes you’re establishing to best take advantage of moving to Donorfy. -
And here we are! It’s Go Live time. Your Donorfy consultant will be on hand to answer any last-minute queries and check that everything goes smoothly.
You’ll be brilliantly placed to start taking full advantage of Donorfy; following your Academy training and all the time you’ll have spent with your Donorfy consultant.
You’re ready to raise more, and do more of what matters, while Donorfy works for you simplifying your fundraising.
