Christmas Tree Recycling

Longfield Hospice spruced up their fundraising by turning their Christmas Tree Recycling into an eco-friendly initiative that’s made a tree-mendous impact!

By focusing on sustainability rather than donations, they doubled their fundraising, became the third-largest collection under Just Helping and earned their local council’s official endorsement.

"This goes to show that, by shifting focus and thinking about other impacts we can have on the local community, the fundraising will follow."

Transformed Christmas Tree Recycling into both a fundraising and sustainability success, for double the impact🎄

Partnered with businesses, the local council, and another charity to repurpose tree chippings, further reducing waste ♻️

SEA LIFE TRUST

Global Beach Clean

Imagine people all over the world - from the east coast of Australia to the west coast of the USA - coming together on the same day to protect our oceans!

That’s exactly what SEA LIFE TRUST achieved. With their 24-hour Global Beach Clean, they inspired 1,500 volunteers to remove almost 5 tonnes of litter from waterways - before it harms marine life.

"It's important that people do their bit to protect the world's oceans and the amazing marine creatures. We're proud we've inspired people to do just that."

They organised a Global Beach Clean across 50 locations, preventing over 4,500kg of litter from polluting our oceans 🌊

They highlighted the devastating effects of plastic pollution and encouraged ongoing action to protect marine life 🐬

Stamford School isn’t just educating students - it’s empowering a community, driving sustainability and making a lasting local impact.

Their biodegradable Stamford Card supports local businesses, while their Lecture Series fosters free learning opportunities for all. Plus, their outreach campaigns tackle issues like loneliness.

VOTE STAMFORD SCHOOL

Their biodegradable Stamford Card promotes local shopping, generating at least £46,000 for the local economy annually 🛍️

Their Lecture Series gives free access to diverse speakers, with optional donations enabling life-changing bursaries 🎓

Stamford’s community campaigns, including sending cards to local residents to combat loneliness, are all powered by Donorfy 💚

DEMENTIA TOGETHER WIRRAL

Strength in Community

Dementia Together Wirral prove that supporting people goes beyond fundraising - it’s about community, resilience and impact.

Despite losing local dementia services, they grew from 50 to 900 members, providing vital support and combatting isolation. They've been nominated for a King’s Award for Voluntary Service, too!

LAKE DISTRICT FOUNDATION

Opening the Outdoors

The Lake District should be for everyone - but too many face barriers to access.

That’s why Lake District Foundation, supported by All the Elements, launched a groundbreaking initiative, awarding 17 underrepresented groups a £2,000 grant - and the chance to explore, connect and help shape a more inclusive outdoor space.

"We can change the status quo by fostering diversity and welcome more people from diverse backgrounds. That’s the lasting change we want to see."

VOTE LAKE DISTRICT FOUNDATION

Supported 17 underrepresented groups, including low-income communities and LGBTQIA groups, with £2000 grants to visit the Lake District 🌍

Gathered real feedback from visitors to tackle barriers to access, from transport challenges to a lack of diverse outdoor leaders, shaping long-term inclusivity 🏔️

They used Donorfy to ensure smooth collaboration, manage contacts, streamline communication and track project impact across remote teams 💚
