Bulk delete activities

Recall how nice it would be to delete a bunch of unwanted activities from several constituent timelines? Now you can!

Like deleting constituent tags from within a list, now you can remove activities using a similar method. In just three simple steps:

Create an activity list for those you want to delete.
Choose the archive option from the list menu and select ‘Mark all the items in this list for deletion’.
Navigate to Data Management>Bulk Delete>Timeline and remove the activities. Boom!

JustGiving and Facebook Consents

We've improved consent handling, changing what's recorded in Donorfy when a donor opts in to hear from the charity as they donate to a friend's fundraising event. See below.

When consent for the following is received on JustGiving: “I'm happy for {charityName} to keep me informed, by email, about the impact of my fundraising and other ways to stay involved, including future events, campaigns and appeals."

When consent for the following is received on Facebook: “Allow {charity name} to email me and share updates about their organisation."

For positive consent. New and existing constituents will have the email channel and mapped purpose set to the green opt-in status.
When left blank, no consent changes will be made to any existing constituent. Ensuring it does not override any existing consent information.

In the past, when Facebook didn't provide the following information within the file download, the import failed.

Going forward, when this is the case, Donorfy will populate those fields with an “Unknown” default.

Mailchimp

Based on feedback from our customers, we enhanced the Mailchimp synchronisation, which will improve the speed and reliability of the integration.
