The Academy was more than just an idea; it was a commitment to making learning and empowerment an integral part of Donorfy's offerings. If you were choosing Donorfy as your charity’s CRM, we wanted to teach you how to squeeze every last drop of value from it. So, as we celebrate this milestone, we're not just applauding the Academy’s success this year, but yours too. 

Since last November, individuals from over 300 charities have embraced the Academy, including 515 course completions and 126 official certifications. Also - we’ve had 919 attendees for live training courses.

The story of Donorfy Academy isn't just about accumulating statistics for the past year though. Let's take a closer look at how it all began:

Igniting Impact: Josh Joins Donorfy

When you watch an Academy tutorial video or attend a live training session, that’s the handy work of Academy Manager, Josh. 

Josh joined in August 2022, bringing both content and fundraising expertise to the Donorfy table. Previously working in fundraising at Sheffield Hallam University, Josh raised funds to support students from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds.

He knows the amazing benefits of a fundraising CRM first hand - if you know how to use it effectively, that is.

"Managing the Donorfy Academy is always a moving piece”  he reflects. "In the same day I might be delivering live training on Donorfy Forms, and producing a video course about a Donorfy integration like Enthuse or Mailchimp. There's a lot of different ways people can use Donorfy to make their lives easier, and we want to make sure people have access to learning all of them.”
